Wellbeing Convening:  The Prosecutor – Victim Advocate Team   WHEN August 22-23, 2024   WHERE The Omni Tucson National Resort 2727 W Club Drive Tucson, AZ 85742   This two-day wellness convening is specifically designed for a prosecutor and victim advocate team to attend together and take lessons learned back to their office.  The retreat venue overlooks the Catalina Mountains, creating an atmosphere to learn, to breathe, and to grow together. All attendees are eligible to stay at the retreat venue where communal breakfast and lunch will be served, along with opportunities for yoga and meditative walks.     Prosecutors and victim advocates must apply to attend as a team – each person submitting their own application.  Applications must be submitted by July 12, 2024. Applicants will be notified by July 19, 2024, whether or not they are admitted.    Topics Include:   The Ethics of Wellness Neurobiology of Stress Professional Resilience Drivers of Burn Out & Wellness Immediate Strategies Creating a Culture of Wellness

APAAC will provide breakfast and lunch; or you may bring your own lunch.

Out of County Travel & Reimbursement

APAAC is able to offer hotel accommodations at The Omni Tucson National Resort, located at 2727 W Club Drive Tucson, AZ 85742, to APAAC Members working for prosecution offices outside of Pima County for the nights of Wednesday, August 21 and Thursday, August 22, 2024.

APAAC offers reimbursement to registrants from APAAC Member Offices who are traveling from outside of Pima County for meals not provided by APAAC at state government per diem rates and roundtrip mileage at 65.5 cents per mile.
