The Intersection of Drug & Human Trafficking

The Pinal County Attorney's Office and APAAC announce The Intersection of Drug & Human Trafficking Conference. This one-day, multi-disciplinary program focuses on the challenges and commonalities investigating and prosecuting these crimes.  Topics include:

 

  • Arizona Law and the Human Cost of Trafficking
  • Case Study 1: Cartel Arellano Felix: International Narcotics Trafficking and Human Smuggling
  • Case Study 2: Lincoln Park Bloods: Street Level Pimping and Drug Dealing Transforms to Multi-state Human Trafficking
  • Investigative & Prosecution Strategies for Drug & Human Trafficking Cases

 

 

There is no fee to attend the conference, however, pre-registration is required. Lunch will be provided. APAAC is hosting hotel rooms for out-of-county attendees from APAAC Member Offices who request a room at the time of registration.

 

In addition, out of county attendees will be eligible for mileage reimbursement at a rate of 67 cents per mile.

This course may qualify for up to 6.0 hours of CLE Credit and AZPOST Continuing Training Credit.

This training is made possible by the Pinal County Attorney's Office in conjunction with the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs.
