Selecting a fair and impartial jury is key to obtaining justice, yet can be particularly challenging in domestic violence and impaired driving cases. This highly-interactive jury selection training was developed by Indiana prosecutors, and demonstrates how to effectively elicit important information from jurors, in addition to identifying factors which may lead a juror to be biased. All fulltime prosecutors from APAAC Member Offices are eligible to apply to attend this training. The core concepts from this program are applicable to selecting a jury for any type of crime, and attendees will learn how to bring the techniques back to their office to train their fellow prosecutors.
