This training is designed for non-attorney staff in prosecution offices. All members of prosecution offices are held to the highest possible standard – that of Minister of Justice. However, as human beings, we are susceptible to bias. The question, then, is how can we overcome that aspect of our humanity and be a Minister of Justice? Through the framework of our role in the criminal justice system, we will look at the potential impact of confirmation and implicit bias, and identify strategies for evidence-based decisions.
