Back by popular demand, APAAC and GOHS are hosting the Prosecuting the Drug-Impaired Driver Conference, on March 18-21, 2024. 
 
Drug-impaired driving cases can be some of the most interesting and challenging cases we face. Depending on the substance, drug impairment can look very different than alcohol impairment. 
 
The Prosecuting the Drug-Impaired Driver Conference is designed to assist prosecutors in evaluating and prosecuting these unique cases. Experienced DRE officer instructors, prosecutors and crime lab personnel will educate on how to recognize the unique symptoms of impairment for the various drug categories, as well as impairment by multiple drugs. Instruction on how to prepare and present these cases in court will be provided. Agenda topics will include, but are not limited to:
