The Pinal County Attorney's Office and APAAC announce The Intersection of Drug & Human Trafficking Conference. This one-day, multi-disciplinary program focuses on the challenges and commonalities investigating and prosecuting these crimes. Topics include:
- Arizona Law and the Human Cost of Trafficking
- Case Study 1: Cartel Arellano Felix: International Narcotics Trafficking and Human Smuggling
- Case Study 2: Lincoln Park Bloods: Street Level Pimping and Drug Dealing Transforms to Multi-state Human Trafficking
- Investigative & Prosecution Strategies for Drug & Human Trafficking Cases
There is no fee to attend the conference, however, pre-registration is required. Lunch will be provided. APAAC is hosting hotel rooms for out-of-county attendees from APAAC Member Offices who request a room at the time of registration.
In addition, out of county attendees will be eligible for mileage reimbursement at a rate of 67 cents per mile.
