Home Events Juvenile Justice: Probation to Prison

Join us at the Adobe Mountain Correctional Facility to learn about sentencing and disposition options for juvenile offenders who are prosecuted in the adult and juvenile court systems.  Experts from around Arizona will discuss both juvenile and adult probation rehabilitation options, in addition to residential treatment facilities, and the programming offered in the correctional and prison systems.  A tour of the Adobe Mountain and Black Canyon Correctional facilities will round out the day.  This seminar will provide you with a first-hand look at the juvenile correctional facilities, an opportunity to hear directly from probation and correctional officials who deal with juvenile offenders, and a chance to network with your fellow juvenile prosecutors.

In order to obtain security clearance to enter the Black Canyon Correctional Facility for the training, attendees must provide identifying information in advance.  After you have registered for the training a member of the APAAC staff will contact you to obtain the additional information necessary for security clearance.

Lunch will be provided to attendees.  There is no charge for either the lunch or the training.  However, APAAC is not able to reimburse for travel-related expenses for this seminar.
